Sands
of Time

As I sit
here thinking of where my feet have trod
They weren’t always right with the almighty God.
With sands of time falling, our life could just end
As I accept the savior, a new life begin
With each passing day, we travel life's rocky road
It would be easier if we shared another's load.
But we say, our burdens lord so heavy they are
We’ve gone such a short distance, but it seems so far.
But just
as sand goes though the hour glass of time
The distance we travel is really all in our mind.
