If you love me then let me know.
Don’t wait until I have to go.
Love me as I am, here and now.
Let me know you care somehow.

Please don’t wait until I’m gone.
Then have it carved in marble or stone.
Come a little closer and whisper it to me.
Why not say it now, let my life happy be.

Don’t wait until I’m buried beneath the sod.
