From Friend to Sister

Once upon a time there was a little girl Robin and her Father was very rich. This is her story.

Hello my name is Robin. My father has his very own restaurants all over the country. That is how we got so rich. We have a huge house. I have a great Mom and dad. I have two bulldogs. My yard is the size of a football field. I have horses, cats. dogs, fish, cows and bulls.

Yea, that all sounds great but one thing missing is a friend. All the other rich kids are snobs. I used to go to school but now I home school.

I was walking to the store when all of a sudden I saw kids throwing rocks at a little girl. I ran over and made them stop. I asked the little girl if she was okay, she said yes. Then I looked at her lip and it was bleeding. I took her back to my house and put some ice on it. Then we went up to my room and I asked her what was her name. She told me it was Leeann. Leeann said she had never seen a house this big. I asked her why they were throwing rocks at you. Leeann said to tell you I would have to go back to the beginning.

Leeann said, when I was born my Mom gave me up. When I was 10, I ran away from the orphanage. I have lived on the streets for 3 years. Kids throw rocks at me all the time. They call me street rat and  poor brat.

I said Leeann, I'm so sorry. They call me rich brat. I told Leeann she had to go back to the orphanage. She finally went back.

My Mom wanted another kid but she wanted to adopt. So  they went to the orphanage. I didn't get to go. When they got back Leeann was with them. They had adopted Leeann. I was so happy. I am nineteen now and Leeann is seventeen. All has been well. We don't get made fun of anymore. Me and Leeann are just like best friends. We all lived happily ever after.
