Children that make believe.
In the land of make believe we can have all we wish for
It's like turning the knob on a magic door.
When you look in you see what you want to see
Not just things and objects but what you want them to be.
In the land of make believe things fly without
wings
In the land of make believe its a magical thing.
You hold out your arms and close your eyes real tight
Go into the land of make believe into the star lit night.
You can whirl around and have magical
wings
Not just paper but the real thing.
And on your back is feathers white and soft
One jump from the floor and you’re in the loft.
But best of all you are anything you want to
be
Not just a child for the world to see.
You can be a unicorn with a horn on his head
That helps you jump up and down on the bed.
Whoops, to much excitement what do I
hear
Fun’s all over a grown up is near.
So you sneak under the covers of your little bed
And just let the imagination go on and on in your head.
No need to stop because a grown up is at
hand
Just use your imagination and stay in your own dream land.
