My New Coat

She picked it up and on her face there was a smile
She looked at it and hugged it for just a while.
This is what I wanted she said with Glee
I can't believe its just for me.

She put her arms inside and push through her hand
She was a princess in a fairy tale land.
She swirled around the room and sang out loud
At the top of her lungs drawing a crowd.

Her baby dolls all looked  with a smile on their face
Her new white coat and PJs with lace.
As she got ready for bed she looked all around
Never said a word never made a sound.

Then she got into bed and snuggled up tight
In her little fur coat for the rest of the night.
