The Magic Marble
|
 |
A
small boy was shooting marbles and his
expression was tense.
He had bought this one with his last
cent.
He knew it was a winner and the circle
was drawn without.
Then he heard the other kids shout.
Buddy
has a steely and its magic watch it
fly.
He bent down on one knee with a gleam
in his eye.
He could feel the sweat upon his brow.
He looked the situation over and knew
the time was now.
He
felt the magic the heat in his thumb.
He knew the other marbles he had
already won.
He shot it out and then heard the
clink as it made its hit.
He knew in his heart all the marbles
he would get.
For
a little boy this was a dream come
true.
If you were this little boy what would
you do?
Buddy grabbed the marbles and made his
get a way.
To come back and win some more on
another day.
