Cider's New Son

You remember Roncella, she's the little girl that found Cider the cat in her garden and now for months Cider has lived with and loved Roncella. She started to notice that Cider would go off for days and then come home and eat and purr and hug and cuddle up to Roncella and then leave again. One day she decided to watch Cider and see where he was going and why he was staying gone for days. Roncella was afraid he had found a new home and she was worried about him. She watched as he went to the door and she opened it and let him go out, he went under the gate to the garden. Roncella put her sweater on and went to follow him.

Cider went into the tool shed that was out back in the garden, he went behind the shovels and the old wheel barrow, everything was so quiet and then she heard it, a soft quiet meow, she peeked around the shovel and there it was, a little baby kitten and her mother. Cider had a family hidden in the shed out back in the garden. Cider got the little kitten by the neck and took it to Roncella, the mother cat close behind, and she picked it up and hugged it and then gave it back to Cider.

Roncella told Cider when you are ready, you bring your new family and come to the house. Every morning now she would take warm milk to the shed and set it down for the mother cat and her new baby. Roncella was so excited about a new baby kitten.
